Overview
Dr. Patrick Birmingham- Orthopaedic Surgeon- Milwaukee specialist in arthroscopic surgical treatment of hip, shoulder, knee, and elbow injuries, and Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
After completion of residency at George Washington University, Dr. Birmingham completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery which ranks second in the nation in orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report in 2009. During fellowship, Dr. Birmingham served as Assistant Team Physician for the New York Giants, and concentrated his training on Hip Sports Injuries and Arthroscopy under the direction of Dr. Bryan Kelly. He also researched the biology of tendon to bone healing as it relates to rehabilitation of sports injuries after surgery.
