Overview
Michael J. Salata, MD, is a sports medicine specialist with a clinical focus on cartilage restoration, meniscus surgery and the arthroscopic treatment of orthopaedic pathology affecting the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow.
Dr. Salata completed his sports medicine fellowship training at the world-renowned Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. As a sports medicine fellow at Rush, he served as the assistant team physician for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Steel and Chicago Public High Schools, gaining experience treating athletes at all levels of competition.
