Overview

Dr. Blum is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has active membership in the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society, and the Houston Orthopedic Society.

Dr. Blum is the founder and chairman of the Board of the Foundation Surgical Hospital. He attended undergraduate college at the University of Texas where he graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biology. He then earned his M.D. at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. After that, he completed a fully accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
