Overview

Dr.Sanjay K Gupta, M.D. joined Orthopedic Specialists of Connecticut in 2006 after completing a two year fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the Hospital for Special surgery and at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York under C S Ranawat, M.D. At Lenox Hill Hospital, he won the best paper award for research primarily concerned with hip replacement in the young.

Dr. Sanjay K Gupta's Surgical Training, Orthopedic residency and Masters in Orthopedic Engineering were obtained at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom. During this time he was awarded one of the best research papers at Welsh Orthopedic Society for two consecutive years. He was also awarded the Sir John Charnley and the Ethicon Foundation Traveling Fellowship in joint replacement. He has published in numerous medical journals and has presented to various international orthopedic forums.
